Practices

TENTATIVE 2025 PRACTICE SCHEDULE

NDO Racing practices are tentatively scheduled for Tuesday and Thursday evenings at Groton Town Forest in Groton, MA.  Practices will start the first Tuesday in April if the trails are rideable.  We plan to start practice at 5:00 and finish at 6:30.  We may adjust start and end times as the daylight changes.  Practice will include time to focus on riding fundamentals as well as endurance training.

Riders will be broken up into groups based on skill and ability.  All persons over the age of 18 going into the woods with minors will be level 1 certified by NEYC which includes a background check, concussion training, SafeSport training, and the Speed Science introductory module.  The cost for this training and certification is $25.

Coaches ask that athletes commit to a minimum of one weeknight practice per week with a goal of attending both weeknight practices.  There will also be an optional team ride on Saturdays at Yudicky Farm in Nashua, NH at a time TBD.
