IT TAKES SUPPORT FROM PARENTS TO MAKE THIS WORK.
There are many ways to get involved in NDO Racing! It takes our parent and community volunteers to make this happen. These are some of the opportunities for parents and community members to get involved:
Adult Ride Mentors: All levels are welcome and encouraged to participate in the practice rides. Please note that in order to participate in the practice rides you must complete NEYC required certifications (we will help you and it only costs $25!) and a background check.
Race Day Support: Help riders stay on track to get to the starting gate on time, clean up (yes, they even make a mess at the races), assist with any bike mechanics needed. FOOD! we will send out a sign up for food prior to the race, the more the better, these kids EAT.
Help run the team store: We love our swag, and every season we open up the opportunity for new families (and returning families!) to purchase shirts, sweatshirts, hats and lots of other fun items. We'd love the help in distributing the goodies when everything comes in.
Communications: Supporting the coaches with any team communication that needs to go out. It's not much and we use Slack, but any help is appreciated in organizing things such as rides to practices and etc. We are looking for a social media manager as well.
